The Plum Blossom Elastic Coupling is a device designed for applications that require frequent starting, forward and reverse rotation, medium to high speed, medium torque, and high reliability. It mainly consists of two half couplings with protruding teeth that mesh closely, bearing radial compression to transmit torque. When there is relative misalignment between the two shafts, the elastic components deform correspondingly, compensating for the misalignment automatically.

The ML Plum Blossom Elastic Coupling features excellent vibration reduction, cushioning, and electrical insulation properties. With a simple structure, small radial dimensions, light weight, and low rotational inertia, it is ideal for medium to high-speed applications. It offers substantial axial, radial, and angular misalignment compensation. The high-strength polyurethane elastic components are wear-resistant, oil-resistant, and have a high load-bearing capacity, long service life, and reliability. Moreover, the coupling requires no lubrication, reducing maintenance and allowing for continuous, long-term operation.

The ML Plum Blossom Elastic Coupling operates within a temperature range of -35°C to +80°C. The nominal torque it transmits ranges from 630 to 125,000 Nm, and the permissible speed is between 1,350 and 15,300 r/min. It is suitable for industries such as metallurgy, mining, petroleum, chemical, lifting, transportation, light industry, textiles, water pumps, and fans.

The working principle of the Plum Blossom Elastic Coupling involves compensating for the relative displacement between the two shafts through the elastic deformation of the elastic ring, achieving vibration damping and cushioning.
