Features of HDGY Rail Clips
- Elastic Fixation and Reduced Wear
- HDGY Rail Clips are designed for elastic fixation of rails to concrete crane beams.
- They reduce rail head wear, minimize crane beam impact, decrease crane wheel flange wear, and lower noise levels.
- Enhanced Stability with Elastic Composite Rubber Pad
- The inclusion of an elastic composite rubber pad between the rail and crane beam increases friction, preventing rail movement.
- It also eliminates or minimizes uneven gaps along the rail length, improving bolt stress distribution on the clamp plates.
- Optimal Stress Distribution
- The rubber pad features a slightly convex cross-section for rational stress distribution.
- Small rectangular ridges on the pad enhance contact with the rail, increasing elasticity and providing vibration dampening.
- Durable Design
- Rectangular grooves on the pad minimize lateral deformation under stress and reduce surface damage from compression.
- With treated steel reinforcement, the structure is highly durable, maintaining excellent performance even after 2 million fatigue cycles.
- Secure and Symmetrical Clamp Plates
- Clamp plates are firmly secured to the crane beam and resistant to loosening or crane beam wear.
- The symmetrical clamp plates form a wedge-shaped structure in the cross-section, limiting lateral rail displacement.
- Adjustability for Installation and Maintenance
- Elliptical slots in the clamp plate allow lateral adjustments.
- Sloped holes paired with anti-slip blocks prevent clamp movement, simplifying lateral alignment during installation or maintenance.
- Tolerance for Rail Movement
- The system accommodates slight rail movements during crane operation, ensuring flexibility without compromising stability.
Installation Steps for HDGY Rail Clips
- Positioning the Rubber Pad
- Place the rubber pad with its rectangular ridges and grooves aligned parallel to the rail and underneath it.
- Ensure the pad is perpendicular to the rail’s centerline and positioned relative to the bolts on both sides.
- Preparation of the Base Layer
- Before placing the rubber pad on the concrete base layer, clean the surface thoroughly to prevent debris from reducing performance.
- Assembling the Clamp Plate
- Follow this sequence:
- Insert bolts into the pre-drilled holes in the reinforced concrete crane beam.
- Place the clamp plate body.
- Add the anti-slip block (with the small end facing the rail).
- Add the spring washer and nut.
- Pre-tighten the assembly.
- Adjust the clamp plate to press tightly against the rail edge.
- Finally, fully tighten the bolts.
- Alignment of the Clamp Plate
- Ensure the clamp plate’s centerline is perpendicular to the rail’s centerline without skewing.
