Types of Container Spreaders

• Fixed Spreader:

• Master-Slave Spreader (Combined Spreader):

  • Limitation: Relatively heavy in weight.
• Mother-Daughter Spreader (Convertible Spreader):
  • Features: Equipped with a dedicated power system on the specialized beam.

  • Limitation: Requires more time for spreader replacement.
• Telescopic Spreader:
  • Mechanism: Uses hydraulic transmission to drive telescopic chains or cylinders.
  • Advantages: Easy length adjustment, flexible operation, strong versatility, and high productivity.
• Rotating Spreader:
  • Features: Capable of planar rotational motion.
  • Applications: Suitable for container handling operations requiring rotational capabilities.

Structural Characteristics of Container Spreaders

• High-Strength Frame:
  • The main frame is constructed from I-beams with reinforced critical areas for enhanced load capacity and rigidity while maintaining a lightweight design.
• Double-Position Locking for Twistlocks:
  • Ensures the container remains secure during lifting, enhancing safety.
• Four-Link Mechanism for Lateral Drive:
  • Provides smoother and more accurate twistlock rotation, improving safety and operational precision.
• Rounded Corner Design:
  • Prevents damage to containers during operation.
• Lock/Unlock Indicator Panels:
  • Enables operators to easily identify the lock/unlock status for enhanced operational safety.
