Overview of FEM Standard Crane Wheel
FEM standard crane wheels have been widely used in single-girder and double-girder cranes, delivering excellent performance and earning approval from numerous users. Due to the superior performance of these wheelsets, they are expected to be increasingly applied in the crane industry.
Characteristics of FEM Standard Crane Wheel:

Configuration of FEM Standard Crane Wheels:
- Wheels: Ductile iron wheels
- Bearings: Original LYC bearings
- Bearing housings: Ductile iron bearing housings
Maintenance Requirements for FEM Standard Crane Wheels:
- Ensure the centerline of the wheel width aligns symmetrically with the centerline of the two bearing housings.
- Check the wear condition of the wheels regularly.
- Ensure the support planes of the two bearing housings are parallel to the centerline of the wheel width, with a deviation no greater than 0.07 mm.
- Check the fit between the wheels and the axle to ensure proper assembly.
- Replace the wheels if the rolling surface shows uneven wear or fatigue spalling.
- Ensure the vertical tilt of the wheels does not exceed 1 mm.
