The 10th China Changyuan International Crane Equipment Expo
In April 2025, the highly anticipated 10th China Changyuan International Crane Equipment Expo was successfully held in Changyuan, Henan Province. As the flagship event of China’s crane equipment industry, the expo not only showcased the latest technological achievements from both domestic and international players but also further strengthened Changyuan’s reputation as the “Crane Capital of China.”
This year, more than 300 companies participated, including leading names such as Weihua Group, Kuangyuan Heavy Industry, Dingli Crane, and Nucleon. Moreover, exhibitors came from countries like Germany, Russia, India, Turkey, and Vietnam. These companies unveiled cutting-edge innovations such as smart control systems, automated lifting devices, high-performance crane hooks, and newly designed electric hoists. Several enterprises also introduced their in-house digital crane management solutions, demonstrating the transformation of “Made in China” into “Intelligently Made in China.”
Furthermore, the event offered much more than just exhibitions. Attendees actively joined themed forums and industry seminars, where discussions focused on intelligent manufacturing, green lifting solutions, and the integration of international standards with local innovations. These sessions enabled experts, scholars, and business leaders to share insights and collaboratively explore the future of the industry.
Meanwhile, the Changyuan municipal government played a crucial role in this success. It facilitated industrial integration, encouraged partnerships with research institutions, and promoted the development of high-end crane technologies. By 2025, Changyuan’s annual output value in crane equipment had already exceeded 40 billion RMB, with products exported to more than 170 countries and regions around the world.
As a result, the expo not only served as a major industry gathering but also became a platform for meaningful dialogue between technology and markets. It fostered collaboration, inspired innovation, and offered the global stage a closer look at China’s rising strength in crane equipment manufacturing. The successful conclusion of the event laid a strong foundation for the continued development of Changyuan’s crane industry and injected new energy into the global crane manufacturing sector.
